Why Customize My Cards?

The goal of FMS is to strengthen your repeat rate by reminding your clients of everything you can offer them. Accomplishing this will be much easier with personalized cards that represent your business most accurately. Personalization is a tried and true marketing tactic that may also bring a smile to your client's face.

Run A Campaign

Customize An FMS Campaign

Please click here for how to sign up for FillMySchedule if you are not signed up yet.

From the Main Menu, select the "FMS" tab, then select the "FMS Campaigns" icon.

Here you can see a list of all your FMS campaigns. To create a brand new campaign, you can select the "+ New Campaign" button.

Use the "Update Campaign Addresses" button to update the return address for all the campaigns at once.

Please select one of the campaigns to continue.

Here you can see all the details for the campaign organized within 8 different tabs.

Throughout all 8 tabs, please use the blue "Save" button to save changes, the white "Copy" button to make a copy of the campaign, the orange "Run Now" button to change the Next Run Date to today and run the campaign, and the red "Delete" button to delete the campaign.




Settings

Here you can customize the following:

Campaign Details

  • Active: Toggle this switch on or off to activate the campaign.
  • Or Current Resident: Toggle this switch on or off to add the messaging "or current resident" to the front of your envelope, thus enabling the postal service to deliver the card even if the name does not match. Please note, this may make your card appear less personal and more marketing oriented. Best practice is to keep your database up to date with correct names and addresses. If the name you use does not match, the postal service will return the card and you can make note within the account that this client has moved. If you use "or current resident" you will not get this update.
  • Campaign Name: This is the name of your campaign.
  • Contact Name: This defaults to your FMS profile name setting but can be customized for a single campaign.
  • Contact Phone: This defaults to your FMS profile phone setting but can be customized for a single campaign.
  • Campaign Type: This is where you can indicate your campaign type. From the dropdown, choose either "Reminder (monthly)", "Thank You (Weekly)", or "One-Off (Once)".
  • Day of Month: This field will change based on what you choose for the field above. For "Reminder (monthly)" it will read "Day of Month" and you can select a number. For "Thank You (Weekly)" it will read "Day of Week" and you can select a day of the week. For "One-Off (Once)" it will read "Run Date" and you can select a specific date.
  • Next Run Date: This is the date on which the campaign run will occur. Once the campaign is run, you must then approve each run before printing takes place and your card is charged.

Note: Selecting the "Run Now" button to run the campaign will change the Next Run Date to today's date if it wasn't already and includes any recent saved changes.

Campaign Note: This is where you can leave notes to yourself about this campaign.

Please select "Save" when you are finished.




Card Front

Here you can select the front design of your card from our image library or upload a custom design by selecting the "Upload Custom" button.

Select "Upload Custom" and a new window will open. Select the image file from your computer you wish to use.

Scale and adjust the sizing grid over your image. Content beyond the red outline may be lost. Please be sure all important content is within the green outline.

Use the "Preview" button to preview the card front, then click the blue "Accept" button when you are happy with your selection.

The new custom card front is now uploaded under "Custom". Select the card design and then "Save".

Card Back

Here you can select the back design of your card from our image library. Choose from the images shown under "Use Image", or select a solid color under "Use Solid Color". You may also upload a custom design by selecting the "Upload Custom" button.

Select "Upload Custom" and a new window will open. Select the image file from your computer you wish to use.

Scale and adjust the sizing grid over your image. Content beyond the red outline may be lost. Please be sure all important content is within the green outline.

Use the "Preview" button to preview the card back, then click the blue "Accept" button when you are happy with your selection.

The new custom card back is now uploaded under "Custom". Select the card design and then "Save".

Card Content

Here you can edit the content for inside your card. If you used our 8-Step default signup process, you will already have default messaging added here that you can edit and customize. Otherwise, please type in your card message here. Your signature and logo will be pulled from your FMS profile settings.

Be sure to insert Merge Fields where necessary, such as for the client's name.

Merge Field: If you ever see words surrounded by brackets on a template, for example [NAME_FIRST] ...that's a Merge Field! When Merge Fields are used, that tells our system to look through all of the information available to it and pull out whatever is relevant for the situation and put it in for you. This makes customization quick and easy.

To create a new Merge Field, click on the message where you wish to insert the field, then click on the "Advanced Options" dropdown on the toolbar (Looks like a price tag on the far left).

Scroll through your options to find the information you want to include. Click on the option you want, and the merge field is now added to your message!

Please select "Save" when you are finished.




Premium Content

Here you can add a design to the inside top flap of the card, if you wish, for an additional cost. Select a design from our image library or upload a custom design by selecting the "Upload Custom" button.

Select "Upload Custom" and a new window will open. Select the image file from your computer you wish to use.

Scale and adjust the sizing grid over your image. Content beyond the red outline may be lost. Please be sure all important content is within the green outline.

Use the "Preview" button to preview the image, then click the blue "Accept" button when you are happy with your selection.

The new custom card design is now uploaded under "Custom". Select the card design and then "Save".




Account Selection

Here you can customize specifically which customers are receiving this card. Toggle on or off the filters you wish to use. If listing multiple cities or postal codes, simply separate them with a comma.

Please select "Save" when you are finished.




Preview

Here you can preview what your card is going to look like. Please review all your choices and go back to make any changes.

Please select "Save" when you are finished.




History

Here you can view the history of all your past FMS campaign runs. Select the campaign name to view the Campaign Transaction History.

Please select "Save" when you are finished.




Run A Campaign

From the Main Menu, select the "FMS" tab, then select the "FMS Campaigns" icon.

From the campaigns list, select the campaign you wish to run.

Check that all of the campaign details are correct. If you wish to run the campaign immediately, then select the "Run Now" button. Otherwise, the campaign will run on the next run date.

Please note, when immediately running a campaign that the upcoming repeat cadence will also be updated.

A confirmation window will pop up. Select "OK" to continue.

This will open the FMS Approval Wizard. Select "Review Required" to approve the order.

Review the card content, then select the "Approve Content" button.

Then select "Next".

Here you can enter your initials in the box and click the "Approve Order" button.

Your campaign run is now complete! Select the "History" tab to view the order you just completed.
